Welcome to the GS Central Oregon Scavenger Hunt! Our troop has created this site to provide a fun activity for our community.
Join the fun by going to the List page and seeing how many of the items you can spot. As a bonus, you can follow the Girl Scout principle "Leave No Trace." That means you leave nature as you find it, dispose of waste properly, respect wildlife, and be considerate of others!

Robin - Male American Robins have brightly colored stomachs. They hop across grassy areas in search of worms, bugs, and caterpillars. They are not in the robin family. They are in the thrush family but are just named after the European Robin.
Sage Brush - Mint green and smells good. Usually grows is round bushes
Cheat Grass - tan when dry light green in winter
Wax Currant - it has berries and the berries are red and it has circle like leaves
Juniper trees - they have blue berries on them and have pointy leaves that are crunchy
Mule Deer - they have big ears like a donkey with thin white tails with black at the end adult males can weigh up to 330 pounds also in Centeral Oregon they eat Bitter Brush and Sage Brush
Chipmunk - Brown and grey. They have stripes on their face and bodies. If you see one without stripes on their face it is a ground squirrel but not a chipmunk.
